Current Projects

I feel like a broken record lately, apologizing to people for not getting back to them asap. So here I am, making an official list of all the balls I've got in the air right now, to help keep myself on track and sane. I am *so so SO happy* to get to be planning some of these events, because they are for people I just LOVE. I wouldn't change the schedule for the world. Just bear with me a bit if I'm all over the board here for the next few months!

First, the weekend of our St. Pat's party just passed, and I was focusing on that quite a bit (food, drinks, flowers, decorations, party supplies, drinking contest prizes, cleaning the house, etc etc etc). Sadly Ohio got the worst snow storm in recorded history, with a whopping 20 inches of snow in 2 days. Now, who can plan around that??? Not even I! We have a keg of green beer sitting lonely on the back porch.

Next up is my wonderful friend Steph's Baby Shower

and OMG am I excited about it! I have some cah-yoot ideas, yes I do.

Then will come Andrea's Baby Shower, my long time friend and coworker.
I am co-planning this with another girlfriend, and we have some great plans in the works. *Rubs hands together gleefully*

Then is Natalie's Bridal Shower & Bachelorette Party (see previous post about ideas for that)

Then will come Natalie's Wedding

^Dress I will be wearing

This puts us in July, with My Sister's Bridal Shower, Mehndi Ceremony, and Wedding <3

Followed immediately by our Best Man's wedding, which my husband is proud to be a part of. That will be followed by another friend's wedding, and my sister's Indian reception in Jersey.

Now, one of the most exciting trips we're planning is a Couple's Trip to Mexico, where we will be staying with our college friends. This is in October, and will be over our 3 year anniversary.

*SIGH* I cannot WAIT!

In the meantime, I'm also starting a non-profit charitable foundation with some friends, to raise money to help abused and abandoned animals through hosting social fundraising events. I am *so* excited about the chance to do something philanthropic and am a passionate animal lover, so this is really important to me as well as a great opportunity.

Ohhh, keep reading. We're not done yet.

In addition, my husband and I are talking about selling our house, and moving in closer to work. The commute is just killing us, and we'd save so much money and time if we were closer. But that would involve selling our condo in a less than delightful market. That means upgrades upgrades upgrades! We are planning on redoing the flooring, building a linen closet, updating all the lighting and bath fixtures, and tiling the master bath. We've already ripped out the shower surround and drywall in the bathroom, you should see the mess. You can see pictures of our lovely place here.

Also, in my free time I am proud to announce
*drumroll please*
I am finally starting an official craft and digital design business.
(Wow, about damned time, right?)
The details will be announced later, currently I'm struggling to come up with a name that's not already taken and that I like a lot. I'm also putting together massive numbers of digital design templates, which actually takes quite a bit of time. But hopefully will be soooo worth it.

Oh, did I mention I'm also starting a diet and exercise plan, going green at my house, fighting a 2 month sinus infection, maintaining a full time job and my Etsy shop with crafts? Yeah, those too.

Okay, that's about it. There's another that's private, so I'll only post about it if it happens, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed for it. But see what I mean about being busy?
Much thanks to the people helping me with these projects too. Especially Steph W (my ninja) who is like my right hand these days. Sorry we didn't get to do those green Jello shots lady, we'll make up for it soon!

**Disclaimer**: The private thing is NOT a baby or thoughts about having a baby!!! I promise!
