Pako Plague

french vanilla scented black death

Plague is caused by the sneaky bacteria Yersinia pestis. Depending on how it gets into your body, it causes three types of disease: bubonic (skin), septicemic (blood), or pneumonic (lungs). It has been used as a biological weapon since midevil European times. Aerosolized pneumonic plague is the largest threat today, killing you within a week if untreated. Luckily, it is easily treated with antibiotics if caught!

Pako Plague is named after another of my super scientist coworkers, Pakito, who is funny just like the plague.
