The new machine

Okay my besties, I have had an awful, busy week and weekend but I am forcing some time in here to show you my new sewing machine!

In the end I wasn't able to get either of my top two picks for machines, because stores around here have stopped carrying the brand. I settled for the Project Runway version, which doesn't have an auto start and stop or an extended sewing area, but has pretty much everything else. And having used it for a few days now, I do love it!! It feels very sturdy, it sews straight, goes right through several layers with hems, easy to set up, etc. I would pay the extra $20 to get the extra features on one I posted about before--- if I had the patience to wait for it to be shipped. Which I don't. :-)

Anyways, first, I needed to clean my craft room and organize it for sewing, so I made opening the box my reward at the end.

It is seriously so awesome.

And this was the first thing I made with it







The quality is SOOOOOOO much better than using my old beginner's machine, and it was so much easier to make!! LOVING!
